Shotgun in hookah is obvious, you smoke and play in the smoke and ideally get kills. Or I'd tp on top of the area next to b long that you can't get to without using an ability. If I was an omen like on a map like bind I would sit in hookah with a shotgun and wait. Everyone starts somewhere.Īs a sentinel main I play very passive on defense and play reactively. I’ve actually mained both of these guys at one point, I’d love to give some tips if you’re on NA servers. You’ll also notice that he has the most range on his smokes aside from Astra, for example if you play around mid you can smoke pretty much anywhere on any given map except Breeze but that isn’t currently in the rotation. Omen on the other hand can be played aggressively but is more of a support character, specifically supporting his team from afar and lurking around picking off people who are rotating around the map from off-angles that he can reach using his TP. You’ll notice his flashes and Molly have very limited range and his wall is less for blocking off chokes like a viper wall or Sage wall, and is more so used to block off small parts of the map so he can run behind it with his team to get on site or flash through it to take fights (think of it like Neon’s fast lane ability) Phoenix is an entry frag whose job is to take the first fight and is by that nature a very close range and aggressive agent. Phoenix and Omen for example are two completely different play styles. There are tons of strategies that specific roles rely on, and on top of those are strategies that each specific agent in that role relies on. Watching raw vods can be difficult to new players, you need someone explaining whata happening. Watch vod reviews from other players and learn from their mistakes. If you are attacking try to slowly take space, clearing angles, getting info. If you are playing omen look where your team is trying to take space and smoke places to prevent exposing them to multiple angles. If you dont have nothing to do look at your role. Just remember the main objective: THE SPIKE!!!! When to apply pressure as a defender using utility to get early info/picks/orbs. Thats the general idea, the rest comes with playtime. The ones that aren't you can automatically assume the enemy has controlled it unless you have info on all of the enemy players. Keep a live view of what areas are controlled by your team. ![]() Wait for your team, try to play with at least 1 player so a trade can happen if needed. Time is ticking and its not on your side, always remember that you HAVE to take space, clear corners and bait the defuse. If the enemy plants whats your objective? Defuse the bomb. What is your objective while defending? Defending your bombsite, preventing the enemy from planting. How? Taking space, baiting enemy utility, entering the bomb in coordenation with your team when the time comes. ![]() ![]() What is your objective when attacking? Plant the spike. The 2 main things you need to have in your head is the current objective and space taken. ![]()
